This a very small park in a triangle area at the fork between the Lisburn Road and University Road. To be honest it could not be described as being attractive and as the park benches that were there the last time I visited have been removed I suspect that there may be some anti-social behaviour issues at this location.

The park has been named for King Billy as it is claimed that he along with his army passed the spot on their way to the Battle of the Boyne, after landing at Carrickfergus.

The park features an item of Community Art known Belfast Wheel which is a bronze map of the city donated by the New Belfast Community Arts Initiative in June 2005. The 12 segments of the wheel contain a design from different community groups, with each piece representing the organisation's home district. As the installation shows the different areas of Belfast cut into slices one local told me that it was really an advertisement for a nearby Pizza outlet.
