  Where do you begin... so disappointing. This is the first I've left a poor review but it has to be done for improvements to hopefully be made.
  
  I visited on 11/11/17 for afternoon tea for two with my Mum. I wanted to treat her as she'd never tried it before.
  
  The service was very slow, but we weren't in a rush and understood that the staff seemed overwhelmed.
  
  I found a long curly hair in one of the sandwiches. I pulled it out infront of the waiter who didn't even apologise, he simply said "I'll get you a new one."
  
  The new one arrived which we nibbled through but to be honest once I found that hair I couldn't help but check every bite. I looked at the cutlery, I had a dirty fork and dirty spoon which thankfully I didn't need to use. Even the cake stand needed a thorough clean as you could tell where someone had lifted it with grubby hands. The legs of the stand needed cleaned badly too as they had stains on them.
  
  All in all so disappointing. An apology would've helped but we weren't checked on whatsoever and when I went to the till at the end to speak to someone I was told "oh you showed a voucher to my colleague. That's ok." A hectic environment with no one appearing to be checking on customers or showing any leadership.
  
  Wow. Customer service at it's worst. No apology... A simple apology would've at least shown a bit of care and thought.
  
  I work in hospitality myself and I hate to leave a bad review however I have never experienced such poor customer service from a food establishment.
  
  A cold, chaotic and unclean place unfortunately.
