    Complaint over services
    To whom it may concern,
I am travelling from Newry to Dublin two or three times weekly. I have never complained about the services before.
On 19/02/2016 Friday Evening, I started my journey from Newry to Dublin. The Goldline bus arrived to Newry bus station at about 18:15. I left my suitcase in the boot of the bus.
The bus stopped at Dublin airport and dropped off some passengers after which it stopped at Dublin city center bus station.
On arrival I didn’t find my suitcase and I reported loss of my suitcase to the driver who sent me to the inspector of the bus station who kept me over an hour at the station after which he said there was little that he could do. I told him that I need to go to the airport immediately as it was most likely taken out at the airport. The inspector was not cooperating at all and didn’t do anything to help.
I had to take a taxi to the airport which cost me £22. When I arrived at the airport I found my suitcase lying on the footpath where the bus had stopped. I had to take a taxi back to the city centere which cost me £22.
I am making a complaint about the negligence of the bus driver who left the Dublin airport bus stop without due to care to check the passengers’ luggage which I feel would have prevented this entire ordeal. It seems to me that one of the passengers was trying to take their luggage out and took my suitcase and left it on the footpath. The driver left the bus stop and never checked to see that the remaining passengers’ luggage was all in the boot before leaving.
I await an apology for the inconvenience and hope for better service and the drivers to be more careful in the future.
Due to the negligence of the driver, I had to take a taxi going to and from the airport to retrieve my suitcase and I want reimbursement to the cost incurred of £44.
Thank you for taking the time to read this complaint.
Looking forward to your kind reply.
    Regards
